Silver Fern Healthcare, a mission-driven SaaS company offering solutions backed by 30 years of evidence-based research to better control and prevent chronic disease and to improve health outcomes, is pleased to announce the addition of Doug Lee as VP Technology. Lee will lead technology and information security and is a member of Silver Fern’s executive team.
Lee has more than 25 years of experience in information technology leadership and strategic growth, including working for startups and Fortune 500 companies. He most recently served as an IT strategic consultant for Resultares Consulting and before that he founded and was the President of Resultares, a SaaS-based credentialing and training ecosystem. Lee was the Chief Information Officer for several companies, including Option Care, Inc and a $1.6B publicly traded pharmacy. He was also CIO and Partner at Technology Extension Consulting, Inc, a national IT consulting practice that provided interim senior-level IT management for organizations. Lee has also held management positions in information technology in the telecommunications and telecommunications software industries. He earned his MBA from Aurora University and BA in Strategic Planning and Business Administration from Ripon College.

Lee says he was drawn to Silver Fern because of the company’s mission-driven approach and products, which he believes address a key deficiency in the healthcare continuum by focusing on the patient care and on self-management behaviors.
